Quickstarter Almost Over & Did Someone Say Aboleth Thrall ART?

Quickstarter?
That's right, this Kickstarter will be fulfilled QUICKLY.
How quickly?
In September!
As soon as Kickstarter processes funds, we will commission the last few bits of art, get to layout, and prime the printers :)
I'm not gonna lie...
I'm really proud of our team and community and the fact that we can put this content out (PDF and Print) so quickly. That we can get something original from campaign to mailbox so quickly is nothing short of amazing!

September is still a few months away. Until then, here is another incredible piece of creature art. Of course, the book will include an encounter, statblock, lore, and all the other juicy goodness for this bad boy.

MoH - Pirates and Seafaring - Layout Work

It Has Begun!
In the spirit of keeping you up to date with where we are in the development of this awesome book, we have set up the folder structure for the layout artist for this edition of Mag of Holding.
What does that mean?
It means the writing is going off to the proof reader early this week, and as soon as it comes back, it will start going into those folders. From there, our amazing layout artist (Piotr Albrecht) will begin populating the indesign file which will eventually become the PDF/Print file.
As I said before, the writing for this edition was finished a while back minus editing and proofing. Most of the art is also done.
We're aiming to have this done, dusted, and delivered by early September. Original content or not, we don't mess when it comes to our quickstarters :)
Secret Revealed!
I'll even let you in on a little secret...We've already begun writing October's and December's editions. Can you tell we really enjoy what we do?
I also mentioned our Cloaks of Minehelm Campaign in a previous update.

I've got a little surprise for you.
One of my favourite parts about doing what I do (and there are many) is getting to work with artists.
Here's a further update of the Bone Lord monster illustration. Just to give you an idea of the kind of art and quality you can expect from Mag of Holding.

In Mag of Holding, we go the extra mile, commissioning original illustrations for out monsters, NPCs, magic items, encounters, etc. We give the same care and attention to our writing and the overall design of the book.

Stretch Goal 3 Unlocked!

Congratulations AGAIN!
Less than 24 hours on the sun-dial and we've already unlocked Stretch Goal 3!
"Go on, ye good pirates, ye!"
That means we get to publish another encounter!
To celebrate, I'd like to share an update on the artwork from one such encounter.
You've already seen an earlier version of the artwork on the Kickstarter launch page.
I present to thee, the Bone Lord:
When many skeletons combine as one!
It's still a work in progress, but it's coming on really nicely!
The campaign is doing really well. On our first day, we made more than the first Mag of Holding did during its entire campaign. We are currently sitting at a little over $4,600. Thank you!
Next stop: $7,000
That'll get us a nice shiny Floatsam Table as a PDF and as a printed mini poster, so you always have your chart ready when your players go hunting for loot.
